Can I turn off email notifications?
Yes. Email notifications are per person and can be switched off from the profile settings while in-app notifications stay on.
Can I use TallyWeek on my phone?

Is there a chat?
No. TallyWeek keeps conversation on items and boards. Many teams keep their chat tool and paste item links into it.
